 On IFRA 2008 (Amsterdam RAI, stand 8385 from 27 to 30 October 2008) Sitma presents the new version of a quarterfolding system meeting with success for many years and now combining a large range of features in a small footprint.

The servo-driven quarterfolder SITMA FF-975 is suitable for inline operation with a polywrapper as well as for stand-alone operation and consists of a feeding section, knife folder and space for depositing the newspapers where an inkjet printer can be mounted.

The machine exhibited includes the user-friendly addressing system IJC-36C which has been developed by Sitma. IJC-36C uses HP inkjet technology and it is possible to connect a controller for various kinds of functions (as option printing of top-sheets). The products are piled in the newly designed compensating stacker Sitma 11-SRT which had been presented on DRUPA 2008 for the first time. The piles will be re-aligned inside the stacker before reaching the conveying area at machine exit.
